FISF: How to Become a Successful Influencer Panel

On July 14th I attended the “How to Become a Successful Influencer” panel hosted by the Fashion Incubator San Francisco (FiSF) at Bloomingdales Downtown. Below is my look for the evening! I wore a black top by And Our that I absolutely love! It has two beautiful flowers on the front. “And Our” is a local S.F label that makes beautiful creations for all folx! I also wore a pair of custom-made pants with a wide leg designed by the fabulous Nacho Jota, a Mexico City designer. Nacho takes custom orders and works with you to make sure you get a look that stands out. Accessory-wise, I wore my favorite Versace necklace* and pin (to adjust the pants). My earrings (Moulin Rouge Dangles*) are made by my dear friend Karina of Cafe con Clay who puts lots of love into each pair. The flower headband is from Amazon and you can purchase it here.

The panel included 4 awesome folx who have successfully created brands in food, modeling, and fashion as well as a moderator who is an industry expert. Below is each panelist’s and the moderator’s information in case you want to learn more about them.

The panelists each talked about the challenges, successes, and lessons they’ve learned along the way. It was a great panel and really inspiring to hear each person’s journey. The moral of the story (as I took it), is “don’t give up, and just because you have doubts doesn’t mean you won’t succeed.” I really needed to hear this message as someone that is just starting out. 

I also got to meet the great folx behind Venim, a custom denim jean fashion company making some unique and fun street wear. We talked about making clothing for everyone regardless of gender. It was so nice to hear that they had various sizes and styles that can all be customized. Below is my favorite jacket from them so far and it is definitely on my wishlist! 

After the event, I went out for drinks with some close friends. I had such a good time catching up!
